حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَعْتَقَ نَصِيبًا لَهُ مِنْ (١) مَمْلُوكٍ، عُتِقَ مِنْ مَالِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: If a person has a partnership in a slave and he frees his share, then if he is wealthy, it is his responsibility to free the slave completely.
