حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ، وَتَكْثُرَ الزَّلَازِلُ، وَتَظْهَرَ الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ " قَالُوا: الْهَرْجُ أَيُّمَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Hour will not be established until knowledge is taken away, time draws near, earthquakes become frequent, tribulations appear, and killing increases. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by killing?" He replied, "Killing."
