حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ، وَسُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبَيْهِمَا، (٢)، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَخْطُبِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ، وَلَا يَسْتَامُ (١) عَلَى سِيمَةِ أَخِيهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: He forbade that a man should send his proposal of marriage over the proposal of his brother, and that he should not sell over the sale of his brother.
