حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا، فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ اللهِ، إِلَّا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ مِثْلِ جِيفَةِ حِمَارٍ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسُ حَسْرَةً عَلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the same chain that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When some people gather at a place and disperse without mentioning Allah, it is as if they dispersed from the carcass of a dead donkey, and that gathering will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
