حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " يُقْبَضُ، ، الْعِلْمُ، وَتَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ " قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْهَرْجُ؟ قَالَ: بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا: " يَعْنِي الْقَتْلَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Knowledge will be taken away, tribulations will appear, and killing will become widespread." The companions, may Allah be pleased with them, asked, "O Prophet of Allah! What is meant by killing?" The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied, "Killing, killing."
