حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، وَسُرَيْجٌ الْمَعْنَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَثَلُ خَامَةِ الزَّرْعِ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَتَتْهَا (١) الرِّيحُ كَفَتْهَا، فَإِذَا سَكَنَتْ اعْتَدَلَتْ، وَكَذَلِكَ مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَتَكَفَّأُ بِالْبَلَاءِ. وَمَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ مَثَلُ الْأَرْزَةِ، صَمَّاءُ مُعْتَدِلَةٌ، يَقْصِمُهَا اللهُ إِذَا شَاءَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The example of a Muslim is like that of a crop; winds keep blowing over it and keep shaking it, and calamities keep coming upon a Muslim. And the example of a hypocrite is like that of a pine tree, which does not move by itself, but is uprooted all at once.
