حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَيَرْعَفَنَّ عَلَى مِنْبَرِي جَبَّارٌ مِنْ جَبَابِرَةِ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ، فَيَسِيلُ رُعَافُهُ " قَالَ: فَحَدَّثَنِي مَنْ رَأَى عَمْرَو بْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَعَفَ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى سَالَ رُعَافُهُ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Soon, one of the oppressors from among the oppressors of Banu Umayyah will seize control of this pulpit of mine. And he will have a nosebleed. The narrator says that those who saw Amr bin Saeed have reported that when he sat on the pulpit of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), his nose started to bleed.
