Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْخَمْرُ فِي هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ: النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Wine is made from these two trees: one is date and the other is grape.
