Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man had intercourse with his wife during the day in the month of Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: Free a slave, or fast for two consecutive months, or feed sixty needy people. He said: I do not have the means for that. In the meantime, a basket of dates was brought to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) from somewhere. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: Take this and give it as charity on your behalf. He submitted: O Messenger of Allah, from this corner of Madinah to that corner, there is no household more in need than ours. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) laughed so much that his blessed teeth became visible and said: Go, you and your family eat it yourselves.
