حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا، فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرٍ (١) ، إِلَّا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ مِثْلِ جِيفَةِ حِمَارٍ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When some people gather at a place and disperse without remembering Allah, it is as if they dispersed from the carcass of a dead donkey, and that gathering will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
