حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلَ سَعْدٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ فِي وَجْهِ سَعْدٍ لَخَبَرًا " (٢) قَالَ: قُتِلَ كِسْرَى. قَالَ: يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَعَنَ اللهُ كِسْرَى، إِنَّ أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ هَلَاكًا الْعَرَبُ، ثُمَّ أَهْلُ فَارِسَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) came before the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) looked at him and said, "There are signs of goodness and blessing on Sa'd's face." Then he said, "Kisra has been killed. May Allah send His curse upon Kisra, who is the first person among those who destroyed the Arabs and then the people of Persia."
