حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُمْ يَذْكُرُونَ الْكَمْأَةَ، قَالُوا: تُرَاهَا جُدَرِيَّ الْأَرْضِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ، وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ، وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السُّمِّ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came to his companions while they were expressing their opinions about that tree which emerges from the surface of the earth and does not remain fixed. Some people said, "In our opinion, it is the mushroom." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The mushroom is a part of manna (which was sent down upon the Children of Israel), and its water is a cure for the eyes. And the Ajwa date is a date from Paradise and is a cure for poison."
