Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: In the last era, a believer’s dream will not be false, and the truest dream among you will be of the one who is the most truthful in speech. And a Muslim’s dream is one forty-sixth part of prophethood. And there are three types of dreams: good dreams are glad tidings from Allah, some dreams are from a person’s own imagination, and some dreams are from Satan to make a person sad. When any one of you sees a dream that he dislikes, he should not mention it to anyone, rather he should stand up and start offering prayer. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I like to see “prison” in a dream, but I dislike “shackles,” because the interpretation of prison is steadfastness in religion.
