حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُجِبْ، فَإِنْ كَانَ صَائِمًا فَلْيَصِلْ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُفْطِرًا فَلْيَطْعَمْ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saying: If someone is invited to a meal and he is not fasting, then he should eat, and if he is fasting, then he should pray for them.
