حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ - ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ - لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ، وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُسَافِرَ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ (١) مَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: O women of Islam! Let not any neighbor consider insignificant the thing sent by her neighbor, even if it is only a hoof of a goat. And it is not lawful for any woman "who believes in Allah and the Last Day" to travel for even one day without a mahram from her family.
