حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ رُكُوبِ الْبَدَنَةِ، فَقَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا " قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا وَيْلَكَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that someone asked the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) about the ruling of riding a sacrificial animal (when a person is going for Hajj and has no other means of transport). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Ride on it." He submitted, "This is a sacrificial animal." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) again said, "Ride on it."
