Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Once the fire of Hell sought permission from its Lord. Allah granted it permission to breathe twice a year (once in the cold and once in the heat). Thus, the most intense heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell, and the most intense cold is also due to the effect of the coldness of Hell.
