حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " إِذَا قَامَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) stood for prayer, he would spread both his hands and perform Raf‘ al-Yadayn (raising of the hands).
