Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الْهَجَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَبْلَى كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا عَجْبَ الذَّنَبِ، وَفِيهِ يُرَكَّبُ الْخَلْقُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every bone of a human being decays except for the backbone, for from it the human will be assembled and made to stand on the Day of Resurrection.
