حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمُهَجِّرُ يُرِيدُ الْجُمُعَةَ كَمُقَرِّبِ الْقُرْبَانِ، فَمُقَرِّبٌ جَزُورًا، وَمُقَرِّبٌ بَقَرَةً، وَمُقَرِّبٌ شَاةً، وَمُقَرِّبٌ دَجَاجَةً، وَمُقَرِّبٌ بَيْضَةً " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The one who comes first for the Friday prayer receives a reward like that of one who sacrifices a camel; the one who comes second is like one who sacrifices a cow; the one who comes third is like one who sacrifices a goat; then a chicken; then like one who gives an egg in charity.
