حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْخِرِّيتِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي طُرُقِهِمْ، أَنَّهَا سَبْعُ أَذْرُعٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) decreed that when people differ regarding the measurement of a pathway, it should be kept at seven cubits.
