حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ جَلَسَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ كَثُرَ فِيهِ لَغَطُهُ فَقَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ: سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ ثُمَّ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ، إِلَّا غَفَرَ (١) اللهُ لَهُ مَا كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever participates in a gathering and there is excessive frivolity, then when leaving that gathering, if he says: "Subhanaka Rabbana wa bihamdika la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka thumma atubu ilaik," the sins committed in that gathering will be forgiven.
