حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: {إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ} [الرعد: ٧] ، قَالَ: " رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُنْذِرُ، وَالْهَادِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from ‘Ali concerning the verse “You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide` [Ar-Ra`d 13:7]:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The warner and the guide is a man from Banu Hashim.`
