حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: شَغَلُونَا يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ عَنْ صَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ، حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلاةِ الْوُسْطَى، صَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ، وَبُيُوتَهُمْ، وَأَجْوَافَهُمْ (٢) نَارًا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
They distracted us on the day of al-Ahzab from `Asr prayer, until I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `They distracted us from the middle prayer, ‘Asr prayer. May Allah fill their graves and houses or stomachs with fire.”
