حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ تَرَكَ كَنْزًا فَإِنَّهُ يُمَثَّلُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ يَتْبَعُهُ، لَهُ زَبِيبَتَانِ، فَمَا زَالَ يَطْلُبُهُ،، ، يَقُولُ: وَيْلَكَ مَا أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُ: أَنَا كَنْزُكَ الَّذِي تَرَكْتَ بَعْدَكَ، قَالَ: فَيُلْقِمُهُ يَدَهُ فَيَقْضَمُهَا، ثُمَّ يُتْبِعُهُ سَائِرَ (١) جَسَدِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the treasure of the one who hoarded wealth will become a bald snake. The owner will run away from it, and it will follow him, saying, "I am your treasure." By Allah, it will keep following him until it stretches out its hand and makes him a morsel in its mouth.
