Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَامْشُوا إِلَيْهَا، وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ، فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا، وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَاقْضُوا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the Iqamah for prayer is called, come with calmness and tranquility. Whatever part of the prayer you catch, perform it, and complete what you have missed.
