حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ غَلَّاقٍ، ، الْعَيْشِيِّ (١) ، قَالَ: نَزَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: وَمَاتَ ابْنٌ لِي فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ: هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ خَلِيلِكَ شَيْئًا يُطَيِّبُ بِأَنْفُسِنَا عَنْ مَوْتَانَا؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " صِغَارُهُمْ دَعَامِيصُ الْجَنَّةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Khalid bin Ghalaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I stayed with Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him). One of my sons had passed away, and I was very grieved. I asked him, "Have you heard any hadith from your beloved (ﷺ) that would bring us comfort regarding our deceased?" He said, "Yes, I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say that the young children of people (who die in childhood) are the pillars of Paradise."
