حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الزَّمَانَ الطَّوِيلَ بِأَعْمَالِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، ثُمَّ يَخْتِمُ اللهُ لَهُ عَمَلَهُ بِأَعْمَالِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، فَيَجْعَلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الزَّمَانَ الطَّوِيلَ بِأَعْمَالِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، ثُمَّ يَخْتِمُ اللهُ لَهُ عَمَلَهُ بِأَعْمَالِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَجْعَلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيُدْخِلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A person performs the deeds of the righteous for a long time, but his end is upon the deeds of the people of Hell, and he enters Hell. While another person performs the deeds of the sinful for a long time, but his end is upon the deeds of the people of Paradise, and he enters Paradise.
