حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا، ، لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ رَبَّهُمْ، وَيُصَلُّوا (١) عَلَى نَبِيِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، إِنْ شَاءَ آخَذَهُمْ بِهِ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ عَفَا عَنْهُمْ "، (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it nor send blessings upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and then disperse, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
