حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ أُثَالٍ الْحَنَفِيَّ أَسْلَمَ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُنْطَلَقَ بِهِ إِلَى حَائِطِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ فَيَغْتَسِلَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَدْ حَسُنَ إِسْلَامُ صَاحِبِكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Thumamah bin Uthal Hanfi accepted Islam, he was taken to the garden of Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) for bathing, on the order of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The Islam of your companion has become excellent."
