Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When the strap of the shoe of any one of you breaks, he should not walk with a shoe on one foot and the other foot bare (he should either wear both shoes or take both off). And when a dog puts its mouth in the utensil of any one of you, he should wash that utensil seven times. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
