Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Envy is permissible only towards two persons: one is the person whom Allah has granted the wealth of the Qur'an, and he remains engaged in its recitation day and night; when another person sees him, he says, "If only I were granted wealth like this person, so I could act as he does." The second is the person whom Allah has granted wealth and riches, and he spends it in the way of truth; when another person sees him, he says, "If only I were granted wealth like this person, so I could act as he does."
