Original Arabic
قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رَبَطَتْ امْرَأَةٌ هِرًّا، أَوْ هِرَّةً،، ، فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا، وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ، فَأُدْخِلَتِ النَّارَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
And the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A woman entered Hell only because of a cat which she had tied up; she neither fed it nor gave it water, nor did she let it go free so that it could eat the insects of the earth by itself.
