حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ نَارَكُمْ هَذِهِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: إِنَّهَا لَكَافِيَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: " فَإِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا حَرًّا فَحَرًّا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "This fire of yours, which the children of Adam kindle, is one part out of seventy parts of the fire of Hell." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), by Allah! Even this one part would be sufficient." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The fire of Hell is sixty-nine degrees hotter than this, each degree equal in heat to this (worldly fire)."
