حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَقَدَّمُوا شَهْرَ، ، رَمَضَانَ بِصِيَامِ يَوْمٍ أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ، إِلَّا رَجُلًا كَانَ يَصُومُ صَوْمًا فَلْيَصُمْهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not fast one or two days before Ramadan, except for a person who has the habit of fasting (on those days), then he may fast.
