حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا فَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنِ أَبِي سَعْدٍ الْحِمْصِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: دُعَاءٌ حَفِظْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا أَدَعُهُ: " اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي أُعْظِمُ شُكْرَكَ، وَأَتَّبِعُ نَصِيحَتَكَ، وَأُكْثِرُ، ، ذِكْرَكَ، وَأَحْفَظُ وَصِيَّتَكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard some supplications from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) which he said he would never abandon as long as he lived. I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) supplicating: "O Allah, make me one who is grateful to You, one who remembers You abundantly, one who follows Your advice, and one who safeguards Your command."
