حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،، ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نَفْسُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مُعَلَّقَةٌ مَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ "، (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The soul of a Muslim remains suspended until his debt is paid off.
