حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ جَوْسٍ الْهِفَّانِيِّ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ: الْعَقْرَبِ، وَالْحَيَّةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) has commanded that even during prayer, "the two black things, i.e., the snake and the scorpion," may be killed.
