حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْخَمْرُ فِي هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ: النَّخْلَةِ، وَالْعِنَبَةِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Wine is made from these two trees: one is the date-palm and the other is the grapevine.
