حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَجْلَانُ، مَوْلَى الْمُشْمَعِلِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ رُكُوبِ الْبَدَنَةِ؟ فَقَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا "، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا وَيْلَكَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about riding a sacrificial animal (when a person is going for Hajj and has no other means of transport). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Ride it." He submitted, "This is a sacrificial animal." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) again said, "Ride it."
