Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ، فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ، فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a servant among you brings food that he has cooked, he should make him sit with him and feed him as well. If he cannot do so, then he should at least give him a morsel from it.
