حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مُزَاحِمِ بْنِ زُفَرَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِيمَا أَعْلَمُ شَكَّ يَحْيَى - قَالَ: " دِينَارٌ أَنْفَقْتَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَدِينَارٌ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَدِينَارٌ فِي رَقَبَةٍ، وَدِينَارٌ فِي أَهْلِكَ، أَعْظَمُهَا أَجْرًا الدِّينَارُ الَّذِي تُنْفِقُهُ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The dinar that you spend in the way of Allah, and the dinar that you distribute among the needy, and the dinar with which you free a slave, and the dinar that you spend on your family—among these, the greatest reward will be for the dinar that you spend on your family.
