حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ فِتْيَتِي فَيَجْمَعُوا حُزَمَ الْحَطَبِ، ثُمَّ آمُرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَتُقَامَ، ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الصَّلَاةَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: I wish to order my young men to collect bundles of wood, then order a man to lead the prayer, and then go to those people who do not participate in the congregational prayer and set fire to their houses with those bundles of wood.
