حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَوْدُودٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَدْرَدٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا بَزَقَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِي - أَوِ الْمَسْجِدِ - فَلْيَحْفِرْ وَلْيُعَمِّقْ (٢) ، أَوْ لِيَبْزُقْ فِي ثَوْبِهِ حَتَّى يُخْرِجَهُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If any one of you wants to spit in the mosque, he should dig the earth well, otherwise he should spit into his garment.
