حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فِي الْمَمْلُوكِ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ، فَيُعْتِقُ أَحَدُهُمَا نَصِيبَهُ، قَالَ: " يَضْمَنُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: If a person has a partnership in a slave and he frees his share, then if he is wealthy, it is his responsibility to free the slave completely.
