Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ، إِذَا (١) أُتْبِعَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَلِيءٍ فَلْيَتْبَعْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Delaying repayment by a wealthy person is injustice, and when any of you is referred to a wealthy person, he should pursue him.
