Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْخَيَّاطُ، عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
أَبَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقْبَلَ عَمَلَ صَاحِبِ بِدْعَةٍ حَتَّى يَدَعَ بِدْعَتَهُ
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah refuses to accept the good deeds of one who follows innovation until he gives up that innovation.'"
