Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفَيْانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِسِهَامٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏

‏ أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا ‏

‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ نَعَمْ ‏.‏

Translation

English translation

Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:

"A man passed through the masjid with some arrows, and the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: 'Hold them by their heads!' He said: 'Yes(ok).'"
