Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَنْهَى عَنْ رُكُوبِ النُّمُورِ ‏.‏

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Mu’awiyah said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to forbid riding on leopard skins.”
