Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيِّ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْبِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
لاَ رُقْيَةَ إِلاَّ مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Buraidah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“There is no Ruqyah except for the evil eye or from the sting of a scorpion.”
